The symbol of Langeoog island is the 1908/09 built Watertower at the "Kaap"-dune. You can see the tower already from the continent. It was redecorated in 1994 an can be used as an observation tower. If the wether is clear you have a good view to the whole island and the shipping line.

Yesterday I have repaird my FF#1
with safty pins provisional (see Part #
1). A test flight on the beach showed me that the kite now
was alright again. The kite flew smooth and safely.
To take the pictures of the watertower I walked through the dunes
with my kite.
